Phone hacking trial: Rebekah Brooks ‘phoned News of The World as to missing schoolgirl’ Rebekah Brooks (ex CEO of United Kingdom print business of Rupert Murdoch’s) kept her smartphone one evenon holidays in Dubai for Milly Dowler, heard the Old Bailey.

Dean Keyworth told the court he met with Ms Brooks while preparing for the edition of the News of The World.
Mr. Keyworth was with a friend in Dubai when he saw Ms Brooks and Ross Kemp (her partner). The designer told he had seen Ms Brooks at the parties organized by Mr. Coulson at his place.

Ms Brooks, Mr. Coulson and 6 others have been charged with different offences including conspiracy illegally for accessing voicemails, and preventing a course of justice and giving bribe to public officials. In response, the 8 accuses denied the charges.
The barrister of Mr. Coulson, Timothy Langdale QC, asked Mr. Kyworth as to the friendship and character of Mr. Coulson.

The court heard Mr. Coulson was a faithful friend that stuck with his friends even after he had become a media figure. Moreover, Mr. Keyword said that he was so ambitious and did not think that he was ruthless. Also, he always seemed to enjoy a pragmatic approach to the things; he wanted publish good stores in the newspaper.
