As expected, many new Android phones were unveiled at the annual Mobile World Congress 2013. Among the smartphone categories, Android devices always dominate, because these phones run on Google's platform.
Several Android devices were released this week, including the Sony Tablet Z, the Huawei Ascend P2 and the ZTE Grand Memo. LG launched some of its products last week, including the Optimus L series, the Optimus F line, and the new Optimus G Pro. There are also other Android products, such as Lenovo tablets and the Slate 7 launched by HP.
Every year, different companies produce different Android products and earn huge amounts of money. The latest Android devices grow more modern with each new generation. Many of the new Android devices at MWC feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 and 800 processors. The current products are highly innovative and beautifully designed, like the smartphones running Nvidia's Tegra 4. The new wave of Android phones tends to run at around 1.7GHz, with some inching higher. Android Jelly Bean 4.1 launched a few months ago, and many features of these devices are new and far more innovative than on previous Android products. Many more Android devices will be announced at the next congress, but the key question is how many of them will offer genuinely new and unique mobile applications.
